More than 80 contribution proposals for the 2nd Repository Search Forum

The call for contributions to the 2nd Repository Search Forum has met with a broad response: A total of 83 proposals have been submitted. The submissions address questions on the status of the procedure, the site selection, the methodology and the host rocks as well as public participation. The repository search planning team would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your valuable contributions. The submission deadline for proposals for a workshop, a lecture, a creative format or questions on the repository search was 16 July.

Based on these submissions, the Repository Search Forum Planning Team (PFE) will develop an overall programme on the current topics of the repository search. The Repository Search Forum Planning Team will provide feedback by the beginning of September 2023. The programme will be published in mid-September 2023.

2nd Repository Search Forum in Halle (Saale) - Save the Date

A dialogue and networking platform on current topics related to the search for a repository site, the annual Repository Search Forum will facilitate the presentation of the work progress as well as an in-depth discussion. The forum will take place in Halle at the Leopoldina, the National Academy of Sciences, on 17-18 November 2023. There will be online events on the topic of the repository site search in the run-up to the forum.

The programme for the 2nd Repository Search Forum will be announced in mid-September. Information regarding registration for the event will be published in due course..
