Video: Repository search explained in five minutes
Germany is at the beginning of one of the most ambitious environmental projects of the years ahead: The search for a repository for high-level radioactive waste. As the competent regulatory authority, the Federal Office for the Safety of Nuclear Waste Management has published a video on this topic which explains the whole procedure in a simple and comprehensive manner.
In the animation, interested citizens are informed about the options they have to participate in the procedure through questions and criticism. Furthermore, the video presents the most important steps of the search procedure.
