Monthly reports on reportable events

The monthly reports list events in

• nuclear power plants and
• research reactors

of the Federal Republic of Germany which were recorded in the month under report by the Federal Office for Safety of Nuclear Waste Management. BASE took over this task on 30 July 2016 from the Federal Office for Radiation Protection (BfS) that had been responsible until then.

Publication since 2010

The monthly reports are published since January 2010 and are preplacing the quarterly reports which have been published until end of the year 2009.

Evaluation is based upon current state of knowledge of the Incident Registration Centre

The events listed in the monthly reports are documented and evaluated by the Incident Registration Centre. The evaluations are based upon the current state of knowledge of the Incident Registration Centre and can be preliminary.

If new findings of the individual events are available, the monthly reports are being updated acordingly.
